Hi, My name is Peggy and I am from Indianapolis. I recently sent a letter to

Dr Rutledge with some questions/concerns. I have not heard back from him,

however, somehow, I got added to this MGB group. I am 5'3 " , 265lbs,

depressed, divorced, having Pulmonary problems, having problems with my

knees, and I am seeking information to see if this MGB might be right for me.

I have tried every diet known and not known to man in the past, sometimes

with results, but never long term results. If anyone can answer the following

questions for me, I would appreciate it.

1. Does anyone know if Humana Insurance has ever paid for the MGB?

2. Does having this procedure done mean you never have foods you loved ever

again? No sweets? No breads?

3. I understand that vitamins are forever, but do they have to be liquid? I

have " heard " that swallowing pills is a problem after having this surgery.

4. I have recently been diagnosed as having moderate Pulmonary Obstructive

Disease due to Bronchitis and Emphysema. My Specialist said that getting

this weight off would be helpful with my " loss of breath " problems. Anyone

have info to share on this?

5. I have depression due to my total lack of self esteem, and I also have

panic attacks but they are under control with meds. Is this a problem?

6. I had a complete hysterectomy two years ago, and my Gall bladder removed

many years ago, will this keep me from qualifying for the MGB?

7. I am divorced with a job that doesn't pay the big bucks, so...how

expensive is staying in the hotel, etc.?

8. My last question for now is: Is it true there is sex again after weight

loss?? I am dying to know first hand....so to speak.

Thanks for any info you can heap on me!

Peggy
