OK We are getting ready to send out our 6 month request for follow up

information.

Any suggestions?

We are going to ask about reflux and whether you have had an endoscopy and

or esophagitis.

Recently two of our patients about 1 year after surgery have had endoscopy

for some indigestion and both were found to have a completely normal

esophagus.

We are thinking of asking for some volunteers to go and get their esophagus

looked at (Upper GI endoscopy) just for the heck of it to check their

esophagus for the people that are wound up over the Mini-Gastric Bypass

being like the Old Mason Loop type surgery.

We are also going to be asking about your weights, anemia and hernias from

the ports.

If you are particularly interested in a topic that you would like to know

about please let me know.

PS I am planning on coming to the Support Group meeting on Sat. Hope lots

of you can make it
