Getting My Act Together in Georgia

Well, I finally DEFINITELY decided to have the MGB. My parents have finally

come around to meaning it when they say that they support me so I'll now have

them write their letter. I have been working on my contacts, just need a

couple more. Working on MY letter. And, today I called my PCP's office to

let her know that I needed her letter of support and my medical records. She

and I had discussed the surgery back in August and she said to just let her

know when I had made up my mind. Also called the insurance company to make

sure that everything was still in place there. They said that I should call

as soon as I get a surgery date and that all is okay. It's getting close . .

About the only thing that I don't have in the works yet is to get a will and

durable power of attorney put in place -- just in case. Shame on me.
