Guest guest
, Any time you start something new and then see negative reaction.... the only way to tell if that's what the problem was is to pull it back out and wait a bit. See if the whole thing resolves itself. Not everyone tolerates every supplement... there just may be something in the NuThera that they are sensitive to. Did you use VIRGIN or EXTRA-VIRGIN coconut oil? I have read extensively about coconut oil and that seems to make the big difference ..... those who were not using either virgin or extra virgin had the stomach problems and/or vomiting. You might check the label on yours, and if it's not.... maybe try again. My FAVE is Nature's Way EFA Gold Organic Extra Virgin.... it tastes and smells wonderful. I had to scour the internet for mag glycinate that was legal. I finally found one by KAL in a little locally owned health food store. You might try Googling the KAL brand name. It's in tablet form..... 400 mgs. I have to grind them up and mix them in food. Patti Day #74-Thank you Meleah, and Patti Dear Friends, The finger chewing has stopped! Thank you for your help. My 7yr asd won't wear any type of hand covering so it's a huge relief that this passed in a matter of days. He still seems so miserable in his own body and is still jumping a lot and rubbing his fingers constantly. Physical contact is so hard for him yet he seems to be craving it, and has sat in my lap several times in the past few days (very rare for us!). I hope this is a sign of healing. He's very verbal, but even more-so the last few days(like non-stop!). I started Kirkman Nu-Thera with P5P (has extra B6 and Mag.)about 10 days ago, giving very small amount from capsule into their juice with probiotic. Could this be the cause of recent difficulties? Did I start too soon? Our little boy -2yr/asd has a rash that looks like prickly heat all around the base of his neck. We only get mushy stools from him every3 days or so. Our 4yr old girl (nt) has gone back to pale with dark circles under eyes and cries easily again. Twice I tried introducing coconut oil- small amount and although the kids loved it our girl vomited both times after. Patti- where do I find magnesium glycinate? Thank you all so much-
Guest guest
I'm glad to hear that your one son is doing better with the finger chewing. I think that you have some little signs of progress that show healing going on. Definitely introduce digestive enzymes slowly. Our DAN dietician suggested that I start our son with 1/4 to 1/2 of a capsule. I do think that a lot of what you're seeing in your children is die off...especially because they all seem to be experiencing symptoms at the same time. Remember to just keep the food simple and easy to digest...intro foods or stage one type foods. Meleah Day #74-Thank you Meleah, and Patti Dear Friends, The finger chewing has stopped!
