Guest guest
At times, we see yeast taking over opportunistically in the beginning of SCD, especially if yeast was a big problem to begin with..... and also, especially if one is not supplementing with probiotics or SCD yogurt... and/or not using natural anti-fungals of some kind. *Some* individuals on SCD will need to somewhat limit sweet fruits and honey in the very beginning, until yeast is under control Can you let us know exactly what she is currently eating and how it is prepared, plus what supplements she is now taking, and any medications? Patti Constipation to diarrhea back to constipation -- HELP!!! I have a 4 yo daughter with PDD-NOS who has battled chronic constipation and/or abdominal distension. Upon initiating the diet approximately 1.5 weeks ago, she had a massive die off with lots of diarrhea and stomach cramps. She slept poorly, was tired, and looked not so hot. Her stomach was nice and flat though. Now she is feeling better, talking better, and doing everything better. Her color is even better. But her tummy is very distended again. What does this mean and what should I do? Thanks! Sophia's Mommy
