Listen, why not take a morphine patch while you are having so much pain? On the few occasions I have had it it just got rid of the pain, but I could still function OK. I hate to think of you having such a hard time. Be sure to put your feet up a little higher to help get the swelling down. Love you lots and you know Im praying for you, Liz __________________________________________________ Yahoo! - We Remember 9-11: A tribute to the more than 3,000 lives lost http://dir.remember.yahoo.com/tribute
Guest guest
Good golly ...this doctor sounds like he may be related to that crazy dentist I had. One thing I would suggest you do is something I did and have done before. Write the SOB a letter and tell him exactly what you thought of him. I mean..ya don't have to come right out and call him a quack...but I'm sure you can write a letter that will get your point across to him. Although chances are 1 in a million he will answer you, however if you are anything like me it will make you feel good knowing you did get the last word in. You just take it easy hon...and going to the Urologist is the best thing you can do right now. I'm sure he will know what type of antibiotic you can take. Ask him about Septra...I think that is the way you spell it. This is what my daughter was on for over a year due to kidney infections. However, I know that I can not take septra because of the Methro so it too may be out of the question. What did they give you when you have your heart surgery? Did you contact your heart doctor like we talked about? I'll try and give you a call again this weekend to check on you. hugs Sharyn > Well, I have been off line for so long and I can't get caught up. Guest guest
Hey , sorry to hear you're having so much trouble. Years ago when I was having trouble with my kidneys, my urologist told me to take some Alkaselzer and take a very warm bath. Yah, I know, alkaselzer? But it works. Something about the buffering agent in it helps the pain in the kidneys. Anyway, I took that after I had had a scope into my bladder and up into both kidneys (called bilateral retrograde?). Don't know if you are still having the problems, but at least maybe you can give this a try. It took about 2-3 times before I noticed a major relief in pain. Take care sweetie! Love, hugs and smiles, Lierman
