Guest guest
ka, I'm sorry your doctor is pressing the celiac plexus block. Is he pushing the on through the back or through EUS? I've heard that the EUS is more effective then the one through the back. Of course, this isn't personal experience, just from listening to others on the board who have had it done? You might want to ask him and if he's doing the one through the back, see if he's willing to do the EUS one instead (or send you to someone who can do it. I think Ellen has a list of doctors who do the EUS block.). That's of course, if you decide to do it. I'd recommend my doctor to you (since I live nea you), but I have Kaiser insurance, so it wouldn't be of any help to you if you're not a Kaiser patient. Why are they trying to get you off the pain meds (other than the obvious narcotics are evil thoughts)? From what I've heard, there really isn't much else they can do unless they can find a cure anytime soon. I wish I could be of more help to you. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
