Guest guest
Dear Friends, I am new to this list. I came here for help. A very dear friend and co-worker of mine has a 7 month old baby girl with this problem, "plagio". She says she was just like this as a child and she turned out fine, but as time goes on, her daughter's head gets flatter and flatter. When I am at work I try to get her out of her crib and in her bouncy chair, or I play with her, but often her mother puts her in the crib or a stroller and both of these things work against the flattened back of her head. The baby hates being on her tummy and screams so her mother puts her back on her back. How can I talk to my friend without hurting her, or alienating her? I want to help, but right now I feel so helpless. Thanks, Maribeth --
