Guest guest
, I'm not around much as I would like, but came across your recent message and just wanted to note that Macademia nuts are NOT LEAGAL as far as I know. I doubt Macademia nut butter is. I have a hard time with constipation as well. Especially as I eat lots of bananas and eggs. These are binders so it's easy to wind up with constipation but I need the potasium, so I have to find a balance. The prunes never did me any good in ref. to constipation. I compensate by eating every night a big leafy salad with a whole avocado. Lots olives included in salad. These help as well. But the best thing is to drink lots of water before going to sleep. In the morning drink 2 glasses of water before you do anything else. Followed by breathing and stretching. Simple stuff to start your day. Then have a hot cup of tea, or broth ( something hot) & after what ever you like for breakfast. Cooked pears are good for me, but I guess fruit doesn't work for you, at least not now. Good luck! / UC 11yrs - SCD 10yrs ---> > I am having problems with the diet. I am constipated and afraid that I am > eating too much protein. I don't tolerate any fruits it seems so prunes are > out. Anything sweet seems to give me yeast problems.
