s new worry

Boy if it isnt one thing its another.

Kim just called me and told me they almost went off the side of the

mountain today and ended up in a snow drift and crashed the front of

her car and had to be pulled out by some game wardens.

She has never seen snow before and she was driving her poor husband

nuts so since I was doing okay and out of the hospital they drove to

Colorado.

Now this is two kids(I say anyone in their 20s is that) who have

never driven in snow or mountains before on a trip. They are in some

park and she said the snow was coming down pretty hard but they were

leaving in the morning.

Now old worry wart on this end is imagining all the worst things

that could possibly happen. Snowed in and nobody finding them or

whatever so you can imagine what I am going to be doing till they

get home. Oh well I have sent all the prayers I have and angels to

just guide them safely home.

I was doing so good till she called. Like they say what you dont

know wont hurt you. I dont know if knowing or not is a good thing.

I told her to build a snowman for me and have fun because I will

worry enough for the whole family. They even brought my other

granddog with them. Boy some trip that must be.

To be young and no cares... Cant remember those days HAHAHAHA

Just thought I would let yall in on my night of worry.

here in Colorado,,, it is soooo freezing here... right now in my backyard it is 15 degrees. with wind-chill probably at 0. I was born in Dallas, but raised here and this weather still surprises me sometimes. but this is typical Halloween weather then it will get all warm and we wont have snow for Christmas...hope Kim and her hubby are ok. and that the car isn't in bad shape either. Hey Barbara,

I have been up all night worring. I just heard that they had 11

inches of snow in the Rocky Mountains last night. And they had

driven higher up yesterday so they good find more snow. Neither one

has ever driven in snow and my son in law who thinks he is speed

racer doesnt have any special tires on the car.

I know I am just being overly worried but when she called she

sounded scared. She said that some forest rangers had helped them

but that there wasnt very many people around where they were. She

said they were going to spend the night and leave this morning. SO

hopefully they are not snowed in somewhere in the woods. Knowing

them they probably went off to nowhere land and are now lost.

Oh I need to think positive.

Well if you hear on the news about some Texas tourist in trouble

please let me know.

I guess I will worry till she is home bugging me.Isnt that what

mothers are suppose to do hahah
