I think we're going with Oakbrook Cranial Tech

We're pretty sure we're going to have our 3.5 month old treated at the Oakbrook

Cranial Tech office. I was hoping some of you could share your experiences

there. It's a 2.5 hour drive for us, so a major commitment! But, they're in

network with our insurance (although still waiting for authorization) and they

seemed very nice and knowledgeable.

I would highly recommend them. All the ladies there are wonderful, in my experience. For us it is even a longer drive to that office but it is worth it. We had a different band provider before we switched to Oakbrook (and docband) and I can see the difference.

Our drive to Oakbrook was only 45 minutes. My twins both were in bands, one of them had a second. We were very pleased with the results and the staff. Don't know if you have looked into decorating your babies band too while you are at it but Vinyl Touch Graphics in Elmwood Park has created a not for profit organization, wrapping them free of charge. All 3 of our bands were wrapped by them, love them too!

I have been going to the Skokie Cranial Tech Office, so I don't know

specifically about Oak Brook, but I couldn't be any happier with the care my son

has received there. They were very helpful in the first few days especially,

when I was concerned about red marks on his head. (Since then, we have had no

problems, and he has been in the band about 8 weeks now). I would highly

recommend Cranial Tech.
