Guest guest
Val: Most Americans don't know about Brazilian history, but then, they don't know much about American history either. We are a land of myths, fantasies, and slogans. One of the early slogans during our fight for independence was " Don't Tread on Me! " It was a warning to England not to tax us or send troops to occupy the colonies. Now it means please don't run over me with your SUV! I'd like to visit Brazil especially Ipanema where all the beautiful girls have the anatomically abbreviated swim wear. I understand that as most of the girls don't go in the water, they don't put on the swim wear and two of the largest industries on the beach are sun tan cream, and those who put it on for them. I don't think my wife would let me be that industrious! Hal
