Guest guest
The instructions for making nut milks, and nut yogurt, are on www.pecanbread.com in the " Recipes " section. I suspect your Vitamix won't work for this process.... you'd need just a standard blender. If you could find some other goat milk (sometimes 4-H groups are a good resource), you might have a better result. I hate Meyenberg milk!! Sometimes different starter helps, too. I know some people say they have added gelatin to goat yogurt.... but I'll admit, I have not done this and don't know the procedure. If you just want the healing benefits of SCD goat yogurt, the thin, runny, tart Meyenberg yogurt still does have that..... you'd just have to incorporate it into maybe a fruit smoothie or something like that, and perhaps give up on the idea of a thick, spoonable yogurt. Patti Re: Goat Yogurt Cheese - Intro - New here, Dana's sister Dana also sent me the nut yogurt recipe from pecanbread and that attempt was also a miserable failure. I put the almonds and water in the Vitamix and very little liquid came out. Recent Activity a.. 22New Members Visit Your Group
