Guest guest
Hello everyone! I have been following your comments for the last week and getting bits and pieces from everyone. My 3-year-old daughter, , was recently diagnosed with PDD-NOS. Only two weeks ago we cut all dairy products while we waited for the almond flour and the yogurt maker. Last week we started with the intro diet as described in the book, including the cow's milk yogurt and almond flour bread and cookies as snacks. Then I learned about the stages and that the yogurt was not an ideal thing to start with. I only gave her yogurt the first day. On that day she started with diarrhea and up to this day, her stools are still very soft and watery. One more thing. She got a cold on the same day she started the diet. I gave her tylenol to control the fever. Now she's much better from her cold, her sleep pattern is almost normal and her behavior has improved tremendously. Now, I frankly don't know what to do: Continue with the intro diet? When can I start giving her yogourt again? Should I NOT give her cow's milk yogurt and use goat's milk yogurt intead because she is in the Autistic spectrum? Can I still use cow's milk yogurt in the recipes? Thank you in advance for any help you can give me. -Ximena
