I AM GOING TO START BY CALLING MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND ASKING WHERE I CAN GO AND HOW FAR, I THINK THAT IS THE FIRST THING I NEED TO DO.

Dawn, I wish I could help you here. I had a PPO and could just go see anyone I wanted to without a referal ( see why I hate to be losing it in Dec?)boo hoo. I think you are right. Call and get a list of rheumys. When you call be sure they are still taking your insurance. A lot drop out and the insurance co stil gives you their names. I would ask the receptionist that you NEED to talk to the nurse. Explain the situation and let her know that you don't want to waste the doctors time or yours if he isn't going to be the one to treat you. I think you will probably need to talk to the expert on this and ask Miss HEIDI!!! LOL She will tell you exactly what to do to get the right dr and the proper treatment. LOL

I am wishing you luck. I know how hard it is to change, but honestly you don't need to be abused like this. You need proper treatment and consideration as a human being. I have seen your pictures, you are NO WHERE near fat girl... Want me to come to your next appt and show him some fat???? LOL

Hope you have a good weekend. I plan on doing nothing. Going to enjoy the good weather outside while I still can before it gets too cold. I will be leaving for Stanford tomorrow afternoon. My appt wit witht the cardiologist there. Going to ask about my tree stump feet, yest they are back.

They have me sceduled for a TEE test on nov 12th. ( Trans Esophageal echocardiogram). This is where the go down your throat and look at the back side of your heart. I have to be there at 6:45, my test will begin at 7am and I will be done at 9am. Boy that's a lot of looking. LOL Hope I get the results that day. I'm sure I won't. My dr isn't doing it, He's sending me to a specialist in this field. Mine did it last time. They are looking to see if my new valve is leaking. All I can say is it better not be.!!!!! Well at least I'm getting all the important tests done on this insurance. lOL Might as well use them while I can.
