Guest guest
How is the pain in the kidney doing? I sure hope your feeling better. Are you getting up and around more? Whats the temp doing? I saw how the rain from Ivan has just devasted so much of the country. Ya'll ok? My goodness this hurricane season has been unreal; as we still have until nov. I ve never seen it like this. Well it looks like the other 2 in the atlantic will turn north like they are all supposed to. I had a pretty good day today. The first nice day in weeks and I got a little over enthusiastict with the yard. The lawn, about 3 acres, is still covered with storm debris. I have a small little patch of grass that is in front of my porch that is my grass and my little gardens around the house. I dont care what people put all over the yard and on the fields; just dont mess up my little patch of grass and beds. Today is the first day in months that I have touched them. Boy and I paying for it now, but it sure felt good to work up a good sweat. Its about time I felt like getting off my butt and doing something. We have talked so much on here about how our emotions will run from one extreme to another. Similiar to the mourning process. I was grieving, I had lost hope. I think I have a glimmer to hold on to now; at least I hope so. Let me know how your doing. Love, Chrissy
Guest guest
Hi , by the way, my email address is changing to dceward@... I did send you an email, but it got returned to me, so I don't know if you actually received it or not anyway. I'm so glad you had a day that you could smile and do something productive (although anything you do when debilitated?? is productive, but I do know how one can think nothing is productive at those times. I used to think that just getting into the shower was a good job *L*) I need to get into my garden, the weeds are growing back with a vengeance now, but there is still no chance of that happening. I still can't pick things up off the floor yet. I can now lie on my right side with almost no pain, but if I sneeze (which unbelievably happens many times a day, almost like my body is causing me to sneeze numerous times to get me to call the doc back earlier than the stated 2 weeks) or take a deep breath, the pain is getting unbearable. I did call his nurse back and told her I don't think it's a good idea to wait any longer and if they want me to see him first, or just organise a CT scan straight away. I'm happy for either to happen. I told Dennis that it makes me wonder if perhaps a clamp or scissors or something was left inside me, and he was thinking the same thing. If it was, I sure hope it wasn't my surgeon who forgot it, but one of his residents. My temp still goes up, but it isn't as high as it has been. Guess that is the Cipro working...not sure. I've been on Cipro for 5 days now and thought it would have gone completely by now with the rest of the days doseages just making sure it won't return. I sure don't want to be put on Flagyl next..I lasted 3 months on that stuff orally, and I sure didn't like vomiting every 2 hours after taking it. I lost a lot of weight then, but wasn't a nice way to be feeling. I shall be going now, but shall give you a call during the week sometime. Hope you have many more days feeling good. Take care, Love
