Make a wish foundation Question

We went out to eat tonight and the restaurant we ate at one each tables they

had a paper that read they were taking donations for Make a Wish foundation.

If you donated two dollars you would be put in a drawing to win some prizes. At

the bottom of the paper it read that this was going to help a little boy that

was 3 years old that wanted to use the Make a wish foundation. My question is

do you that have used the foundation is do you have to find sponsors to help

support you wish? I have never seen this done anywhere at least that I know of

but maybe I just never paid attention to it before know my girls qualify for
