Hi all, I have written before, but mostly have just been listening to all of

you. You have been so helpful in learning more about the illnesses. I do

have, RP, plus temporal arthritis, and polymyalgia. It sounds like most of

you also have multiple diagnoses.

I live in Tucson, Az. Married and am a retired social worker. I was diagnosed

this past summer. I am presently trying to reduce the pred. am on 12mg,

trying to get down below 10mg but I keep getting headaches when I reduce it

to 10 mg.

After listening to all of you during the holidays experiencing the stress and

anxieties of Christmas I was wonderig if any of you have tried meditation. I

have been doing meditation for a number of years and it does help with

stress, pain, and relaxing. There are many different kinks of meditation, you

can find one right for you, but it also is being good to yourself to take

time out of your busy day just for yourself. I find it extremely helpful, but

am finding it hard to selfdisicipline myself right now, but I keep working on

it daily.
