Sorry, there is no legal pear juice. You would have to make your own.

Commercially manufactered pear and/or apple juice is strictly off limits. The

only exception is fresh-pressed apple cider..... kept in the refridgerated

section at the store, or from a farmer's market. I've never seen " pear cider " ,

though. It's very easy to make if you have a juicer.... OR, just peel and cut

up some pears and steam in a regular pan with a steamer basket and a inch of

water in the bottom..... then SAVE that steaming water, and use it for juice. It

will be VERY sweet.... and legal!

No, the Trader Joe's pomegranite-mango is not legal either. The legal juices

are:

Tropicana Pure Premium OJ -the original plain one... not with calcium added.

Welch's grape (purple, white, red) juice in bottles, not the frozen kind.

Kedem Kosher grape juice

Dole 100% Pineapple juice in cans, not frozen.

Canned or bottled tomato juice if only tomatoes and salt are added (many

brands).

Knudsen's " Just Juice " line... ONLY.... not their other juices.

Apple cider... only the fresh-pressed, unfiltered, cloudy, uncooked (except to

pasteurize and bottle) kind... found in refridgerated section or at farmer's

markets.

Home-juiced.... any legal fruit or veggie.... made with the type of juicer that

strains out all the pulp.

Is there a legal pear juice?

I'd like to make the gelatin for my family, but my son can't tolerate grape

juice or apple

cider. Before SCD he mostly drank water, but would occasionally have pear

juice

(Knudsen or Gerber) or Trader Joe's pomegranate-mango juice (pomegranate juice

and

mango puree are the ingredients).

Is there any legal pear juice or does anyone know if the pomegranate-mango

juice is Ok?
