Guest guest
Chrissy, thanks for your post. At least now I have a name for the surgery that might help me. As I wrote in my posts to Fliss and Kris, I am going to ask my pcp to refer me to a surgeon in Birmingham, AL that specializes in surgery for 'cancers and benign disorders of the liver, pancreas, biliary tract, and gallbladder. If he agrees to do the surgery for SOD, I'm sure he could remove any adhesions and/or repair any new hernias at the same time. I guess I need to be patient and allow the extra lasix time to work. I thought that the effect would be immediate. I do take potassium 10 mEq daily. I also think I drink plenty of water. I am always thirsty, so I almost always have water, tea (decaf ginger peach with splenda), or something to drink. thanks for the info, W
