I think this might be cause by the pred. It did that to my upper chest and neck. It is like it changes the pigment in the skin there. When I stopped taking the pred it dissipated but didn't go totally away. Another words I still have a pink tint on my neck. Hope this helps you. It wouldn't hurt to call the dr. for reassurance.

Sometimes I think RP is harder on our loved ones than it is for us. We know the pain and the problems when they are there and our loved ones just have to sit back and watch. Try not to fret too much! I am sure he knows you care. It sounds like he is lucky to have someone like you.
