I had the same questions and concerns. We went to  both cranial tech and star cranial (starband).  My insurance would cover the starband. We felt just as comfortable with star cranial as we did with cranial tech. So we went with the starband. My daughter has been wearing it for 5 weeks now. And we are very pleased!

Hello,Many posters on the board have been pleased with treatment results from both providers. What really matters is the skill of the orthotist(StarBand) or clinician(CT.) Do your research on both and then decide what's best for your child. If you give more info. on the area where you are seeking treatment, you may hear from some posters who can provide you with more specific details on their experience.
