Mucus

Hello Again,

What exactly does mucus look like when it is in the stool. Like snot?.....I

have also seen a white layer of something on his stools recently. It might have

been diaper rash ointment but that has never happened before. The white stuff

could be described like pieces of cobweb stretched over the stool. Is that

mucus?

That has been reported here on the list by other parents as dead yeast or

bacterial colonies, passing on out of the body.

I wouldn't call that mucous..... although some might refer to it as such. I

think of mucous in the stool as more snot-like.... more jelly-ish.
