Re:disney world questions on scd

We are just beginning to impelement the diet so we haven't tested it out in

Disney world. We go often, at least 1-2 times a year (my husband does disney

trips as his business) we typically stay at one of the disney resorts that has

kitchens, most of the 1 and 2 bedrooms at Old Key West, Disney's Beach Club,

Boardwalk, Wilderness Lodge, Sarataga Springs have full kitchens and the studios

have small refrigerators and microwaves. When next we go, I plan on bringing

most baked items from home and will carry them frozen on the plane in our

luggage (muffins, waffles, breads etc.) .

In most of the gift shops and many stores you can get fruit and most restaurants

will have veggies and meats. I don't know if you have a picky eater on hand or

not. We do, that is why I'll bring most of our stuff.

Disney is really great for gluten free diets if you let them know in advance,

like gluten free chicken nuggets, but I don't think they do SCD legal chicken

nuggets, but you could always call guest services and ask them if they could

make something in advance for you at a particular restaurant.

There is a chef at Animal Kingdom lodge that will cook SCD if you call in

advance and let them know you are coming. We are planning a trip and plan to

eat there the whole time. I printed the information contained in the email

below. I left a message once and they didn't call me back but I was not
