My girlfriend and I have recently started our children on SCD.

These are some questions that I am hoping some of you can answer.

1. If a child gets a hold of a non SCD food, does it ruin

everything that you have worked for?

2. Is screaming, irratibitlity, emotions running high, all signs of

die off? We are seeing this with one of our sons and it is not

typical behavior for him. He then threw up at one point. He was

even a bit violent.

3. My son refuses to eat veges. I have tried them cooked and raw.

I have now started jucing them and he will tolerate that. Is that

ok? Also, I am not cooking his fruits. He eats them raw. Is this a

problem?

4. My son has a peanut allergy and so I replaced the peanut butter

with almond butter in some of the receipes but he does not care for

the cookie. Is there another cookie or pretzel that is made with

nut flour that has been kid tested and approved by any of you?

5. Probiotics. I read that you should not give these during die

off? Isn't die off happening all the time while on the diet?

Aren't we starving the bacteria in the gut and that promotes the die

off.

6. My Naturopath just gave me some homeopathic suppositories to

help support the die off and his parasite issues. How are any of

you dealing with riding the parasites.

7. My son has small bumps around his abdomen. Kind of like dry

skin and he constantly like me to tickle him. Could this be yeast

die off?

Thanks to all that answer. I had a rough first week on this diet

and his behaviors have calmed down a bit. I have to say that I have

already noticed positive changes and I am only two weeks into this.

More awareness, eye contact, and better sleeping.
