Guest guest
One would think ProGurt from GI Health would be better tolerated as a starter than Astro plain cow yogurt since it is non dairy. Has anyone reported sensitivity to the strains in the ProGurt? I took a spoonful of yogurt from my first batch of goat yogurt in which I used the ProGurt- ($42.00 a bottle in Cdn. funds) I used 1/4 tsp to 2 quarts of milk. My knees began to itch, my waistline swelled and my head started to ache. I became dizzy. I did this before the yogurt was placed in the fridge and hope it will go down better tomorrow when it is set and a little honey added. If not I hope some local SCD er will buy it from me. Carol F.
