Guest guest
hi everyone, I have a 2-years-old son recently diagnosed with autism, and I'm still lost, I read a lot about the disorder and what you can do about it, but still don't know how to begin? I have doubt about going to a DAN, our GI Dr is not helping he doesn't believe that there is any link between autism and leaky gut(which our son has, also many food allergies ,loose stool since birth, overgrowth yeast). The Dr. also doesn't believe in SCD. Anyway, since we removed the food that he is allergic to , stool frequency is less , we went from 4-5 time a day to 1-2 times which is great but still having loose stool, then we started SCD (10 days) at first for the first time he has formed stool (small soft balls) not constipated . After a while he starts having softer stool like peanut butter has no shape, so my first question is his stool normal? 2- I moved to Houston, Tx 4 months ago, I was overseas where I can do any test for my son without going to a Dr., now I need to find a Dr. or a trusted DAN who works with autistic children, so I can do yeast test , blood mineral, toxin test….if you live in the same area please advice me. 3- I also heard about chelating? I need to know if anyone have done it and found it helpful at all. Thank you for reading my e-mail lolo
