Guest guest
Jon, Hi. My name is Pat. I was diagnosed with CP 2 years ago. I also have sphincter of oddi dysfunction. This is what I have learned since being diagnosed. Stay in touch with the people on this board. All in all, I think that the people who have the disease know the most about it. The people on this board have been a tremendous help to me. Eat low fat, do not consume any type of alcohol. Do they know the reason you have CP? It would help so that they can maybe fix whatever is causing the inflammation. My CP is idiopathic; they do not know what is causing it. You might want to consult with a pain management doc. Get plenty of rest and drink plenty of water. Sometimes when you are in pain, you can stop the pain from progressing by eating and drinking very little. Other times, this might not help. Keep trying to see what works for you. Take a look at some of the links and member's stories. You might see something that can help you. My suggestions are not all inclusive, but I hope that this helps to get you started, Pat German Keep a log to see what works.
