Guest guest
My experience with the Mayo Clinic in ville was great. I stayed at the Mayo Inn right on the campus and that particular hotel connects directly to the clinic itself and all you have to do is walk over to your appointments, labs, etc. I went to Dr. Wallace in the gastroenterology department. I had no idea that I had CP at all. I had been in pain and misery for 6 years following my gallbladder surgery and no one in my area could figure out what was going on. I never had ANY bloodwork to be abnormal. The staff and doctors there are so kind and helpful. Dr. Wallace knew exactly what was going on with me the very first time I sat down and spoke with him. I had the endoscopic ultrasound done at the St. Luke's hospital (just down the road a bit) and I can say the same for their staff....very kind. If you have any doubts at all in your mind about how you are being treated by your local doctors and you have the resources to visit the Mayo Clinic, I strongly urge you to do so. They have made a difference in my life! My sphincter of Oddi dysfunction is under control now and I am dealing with the CP. I certainly wish only the best for you. If you have any other questions about the Mayo Clinic please let me know and I will try to help. Zoie
