I also am on Lexapro and I feel it helps me very much. I am not breastfeeding

so I don't have that to worry about! but I do feel I need the medication. I

have tried many antidepressants and this is the best one for me. You may find

it works for you or you may need to keep trying. Depression is very real and

nothing to be ashamed of. These medications are very life saving for many

people. I wish you happiness and I hope you can find someone to talk with

about it too. I am so glad your friend is coming for a visit, by the time she

goes the medication will have had time to work (it can take 3 or more weeks to

tell if it is working). Good luck and please keep writing. We all care about

you and Torin!
