I just wanted to tell you all a little about . Some of you

know and some don't know that she was a nurse at MUSC on the floor

where they take care of pancreatitis patients after procedures.

This is where I first met her. She is a wonderful nurse and I got

more info from here than anyone and could talk to her just like any

good friend sitting across the table having coffee. I remember her

taking care of me when I could barely stand up, much less get to the

bathroom or anyplace else by myself.

I met several years ago in tihs group and it blew my mind

that it was her. After all the wonderful care she gave her patients

she wound up with this horrid disease. I always told her remembered

her with the " I Dream of JEannie " ponytail. She had the most

beautiful long LONG dark hair and has suffered the ravages of this

disease.

I have always thought this disease is just absolutely the worst

because of the many problems it causes but to have taken care of

patients with the kindness she has and then for her to get it nearly

broke my heart.

I just wanted everyone to know what kind of a person this is and she

has been on both ends of the spectrum so to speak. She deserves all

our support (which she has) but I just wanted to let those who

don't know about this remarkable lady.

I hope you don't mind, I just had to do that. You really

made an impression on me and you will never know how much.

Hopefully sometime we will get to meet again and not in the

hospital! haha

God bless

Kaye
