I have begun to use an iron skillet. I use it for most of 's food. Do

you think that is a good idea or a bad one?

Well, I know many people use cast iron for cooking, because they want that

little bit of iron in their diets...... I know supplemental iron can cause

problems for those with gut disbiosis. I honestly don't know how much iron you

end up injesting from the cookware. I don't use cast iron anymore myself.....

just was unsure enough about it that I decided to go with all stainless or

glass. Maybe others can comment.

We use cast iron to cook all kinds of things. My hubby was very anemic

and the doctor really wanted him to take iron pills. Since they were

not SCD legal, we convinced him that we would try to raise his iron

naturally. Besides the cast iron he also eats a lot of liver pate. So

far, so good!
