Guest guest
Enzymes are not a requirement on SCD. Some people choose to use them in conjunction with the diet, but they are not part of SCD protocol. Several brand names are legal on SCD, including those made by Houston Nutraceuticals. (I don't have their URL, but you can Google the company name and find it). Patti Newcomer with Enzyme question Hi, I am new here and plan to start my son and myself on the SCD on Jan.1 I know that we need to take enzymes (I've taken them before and felt much relief, intestinally speaking), but I am extremely lactose intolerant. I'm also recovering from Sarcoidosis and have severe mold allergies. Reading up at the various sites where one can purchase enzymes leaves me confused. Could someone please point me in the right direction? I really enjoy following these posts and have learned so much. Thanks, Carmen
Guest guest
Hi Carmen, You can get SCD compliant enzymes at www.giprohealth.com. I give them to my son when he gets an illegal. Guest guest
I know that the Kirkman Isogest enzyme is SCD legal, and it contains all of the different enzymes in one capsule. Also, remember to start out with less than the full capsule to begin with. You can start with 1/2 of the capsule.
