Guest guest
Hello everyone, This is my first email to the group. I have been thinking about having the surgery. I am 51 yrs. old and have been on every diet known to man since I was 5. I am 5'7 " , and 285lbs., and very big boned. My weight has gone up and up none stop for 3 yrs. I'm so worried about the next time on the scale. I've lost a lot over the years but gained each time all of what I lost and also gained more. I have given up on everything, nothing works anymore. Plus I had a hysterectomy 3 yrs. ago and I'm in full blown menopause which makes losing even more difficult. The process to have this surgery seems so complicated or is it just me? I would love to hear from anyone that could give me some advice about anything you want to share with someone that is just beginning to think about it. As you might know I'm very nervous and my husband thinks it is to drastic but then of course he's the same size as the day I met him and can eat anything and everything without a worry in the world. Please help me ? Joan __________________________________________________
