Update on Doc's surgery,,,,,,,,,,,

Today is one week since my wife had her TP and Spleen removed here

in Phoenix. She is still in hospital but is completely off the pain

meds. She's getting the liquid nutrition thru that nasal tube to the

intestines. The evacuation stomach pump is now on for 1 hour and off

for 8 hours. Progress is ongoing,,,, she's ambulatory walking around

the unit and going downstairs to the Healing Garden.

One problem is her blood pressure is rather high for some reason

and they are trying to control it with medications. Her glucose

levels are high at times and is getting insulin injections regularly.

Her physician says she may go home in a few days, hopefully before

this long holiday weekend, when absolutely nothing is done in the

hospital.
