Guest guest
Well I have a little story to tell you all. On Friday August 20, 2004 I went in for a stent change and ended up having a seizure the following day. I don't remember anything about last week until Thursday. I was D/c home on Friday. The neuro doctor said that the seizure was cause by the Wellbutrin 150mg I was on. They took me off that and the Elavil 75mg, Oxycontin 40mg, Oxycodone 10mg. I am now on Dilantin 200mg bid, oxycontin 20mg every 8hrs, prozac 40mg, robinul, and colestid. I feel so much better. I can't believe how well I feel. I am still achey all over but I think that is due to the withdrawls from the wellbutrin. I hate that this happened because I was off all last week and didn't have any sick time to cover my hours so it will be with out pay. But i will probably be saving about $150.00 in prescription cost a month. I am scheduled for my next ERCP and stent change on Sept 24, 2004. Hopefully this will be it. I am able to eat Salads (lettace, carrotts, purple cababge w/fat free dressing) for lunch. I still get a little nausea after eating but I think it will pass eventually. I also lost 10lbs while in there and now weight 126lbs. Just think in December when I had my 1st surgery I weighted 156lbs. I have my daughter living with me and see me son almost everyday so I feel blessed that things have worked out this way. They say all things happen for a reason so I will just accept it and take on day at a time. I also just got a raise at my job and have been told that I will soon received another 51 cents in the next few weeks. I am still broke but oh well I have my kids again.
