What helped me to decide was how my son would feel when he is 12 years old and the coach can't find a football helmet that will fit my son's head and all the other boys would be laughing at him or the technician at the eye dr. can't get his glasses to fit right because of ear asymmetry. Those "little" things helped me to decide. My little Trevor is 4 1/2 months old and is getting fitted for his band next friday. He has a 10mm diaganol difference. Oh yeah! Got a letter from insurance 2 days ago and they are paying 80%!

In MY opinion (and it's just mine) if you don't want him to depend on his hair to hide asymmetry and flatness, I'd get a helmet. If you don't like how his head looks, you need to be the advocate for your son.>> Hello,> We have to decide within days if we will get a helmet for my little boy who is 8 months old with an asymmetry of 8mm and 93% brachio.> > I know is too late for repositioning but I don´t want to get the helmet if he doesn´t really need it. The doctor seems so indifferent! > > Any advise is appreciated.> > I don´t want him to depend on his hair to disimulate this once he is older.> > thank

you!>
