Guest guest
Hi all: I have been home a week tomorrow. While in ton I saw Dr. Cotton who did an ERCP and manometry studies all the usual. He put in two stents and ballooned open the pancreatic duct. I am to have an abdominal x-ray in 30 days to see if the stents have " passed " . If not, its back to ton. It has helped some, but today I feel yucky. I had a small SOD spasm this morning and i sure hope that it is not " the passing of the stent " too early. I will say, the care I received down there was first rate as usual. Dr. Cotton wound up cancelling the EUS with Dr. Hawes because it would have ment two anestheisas in a row and he did not want to do that. So I never got to meet Dr. Hawes. But, I am sure sometime or other I will be meeting him. I have come to the sad conclusion that this will never completely end. I am not usually this " down " about this stuff but I have had it. I am NOT a candidate for TP/ICT, so I guess I will have to live with it. I am sorry I don't get on here as much as I use to and add my information, but I think like a lot of us I am in a depression. Been there before. You all know how that goes. Just wanted to let you all know what was going on. Kaye
