Guest guest
Suzy, Pete and Poncho are so right about the water!! It's so important to keep the pancreas well hydrated, and you can have the worst attacks when the pancreas has become dehydrated. The easiest way to know how much you need is to drink half your body weight in ounces of water.......meaning that if you weight 125 pounds you should be drinking at least 63 ounces, 150 pounds = 75 ounces, etc. If you just can't tolerate water, try putting some lemon or lime into it. Even adding a bit of fruit flavoring or Crystal Lite flavoring into it would be better than none at all..... I walk around the house with a bottle of water in my hand, and carry several full bottles to drink whenever I'm in the car. I didn't used to care for it that much, but now I've learned to love it!
