Guest guest
I'm happy to hear that is feeling better. I would definitely start the supplements ONE at a time.... wait a good week before starting another. In my opinion, magnesium is the most important to add back. It depends on the form, but if she is tending towards constipation (no BM since Thursday??), magnesium may help with that. Magnesium citrate and magnesium oxide both have laxative effects. Next most important is acidophilus. I like the P5P form of B6, but I feel uncomfortable giving it alone.... without a balance of all the other B vitamins. I'd rather see a B-complex with P5P.... but that's up to you. Enzymes, CoQ10 and Vitamin E would probably come next (in whatever order you want). Calcium would be the last thing I put back. (I personally would not supplement calcium without Vitamins A, D and K... and maybe not even then. That's just my opinion.). Just be sure you give plenty of time in between each one, so you know for sure she is tolerating them. If you start two together and she reacts, you can't know which one it was. Happy Birthday, ! Patti RE: smelly gas and vomiting No none of the foods was new. No I was not cooking the fruit. I went back the next day to chicken and carrots and chicken and squash, which she tolerated and kept down. But I also took her off all her vitamins and minerals she was on. She was on Q 10, Vitamin E, Acidophilus, Enzymes, Magnesium, Calcium, P5P, all SCD legal. So far she has not vomited or has had diarrhoea. As a matter of fact she has had no bm since Thursday. When I start her back on Vitamins and Minerals which are the most important once to start with? Tonight she even had a SCD legal pumpkin Pie, since it is her 15 birthday tomorrow. does not go to school but still we have lots of volunteers coming to our house that could have brought it with them. Thanks Patti for you help.
