Guest guest
Doc, sorry this is so late, but I was visiting my Grandmother last week and didn't take my laptop. I am glad that your wife is healing on schedule and delighted that you were able to find humor in the situation (the saranwrap ). Sometimes humor is the better healer and it is usually a sign that the person is getting better, even if it is slowly. Give your wife a hug and a smile from me. (and one for you too.) Guest guest
Thanks ,,,, things are goin OK overall. Progress is now slow as far as the healing goes which is to be expected after just 3 weeks. We're still experimenting with the new low carb diet and insulin dosages, which is going to take some time. Be well, Doc in Az.
Guest guest
Doc, I'm glad your wife is continuing to get better. Once her incision heals, if she puts vitamin E oil on the incision scar, it will help reduce the amount of scarring. It also works on old scars too, but works best if you start using it as soon as the scabs come off. I used it on the two incsion marks from my two surgeries and it has helped a great deal.
