Guest guest
Lynda, I'm not quite sure what you meant by saying that you'd gone over the limits of words/letters the MB will accept. A 10,000 word disertation would be more than we could handle, probably, but you should be able to tell us what we need to know in a reasonably lengthed summary without any restrictions. Perhaps if you could provide us with a little bit more information, it would be easier for us to suggest solutions that may be helpful for your mother's care. Things that we'd like to know are: When was your mother's pancreatitis diagnosed? Does she have a specialist, or a gastroenterologist who is treating her now? What advice were you given by her doctor/specialist/gastroenterologist concerning her diet, enzyme supplementation, pain medication, etc? Does she live alone, or with you, or where? I'm not aware of any specific advantages that peach juice, or peach tea have for pancreatitis. Any form of non-alcoholic, low fat liquid supplementation that would help to keep her well hydrated is advisable. WATER, of course, is the best, least expensive, and most easily digested form of liquid that you could use. Beverages containing additional vitamins, minerals, potassium or additives that have electrolites are also highly recommended. Supplemental beverages like Ensure, Slim Fast or Boost are also beneficial. Please post again with some more history, the answers to these questions, and any other information relating to her situation. We'll see what we can do to help you, to help her.
