does anyone know where N1303K came from

Hi guys,

Was wondering if anyone knows or has heard of the origin of certain mutations.

Both my sons have Delta F508 & N1303K . I have heard alot of talk about the

Delta f508 one. It is just purely curiosity on my part. ALl I was told was the

mutations and no other info from the docs.

Hi Vondie,

These are the same two as my son . I believe that I read that the

N1303K comes from Italian ancestry, or somewhere in that region. My husbands

great-grandparents came here from Italy, I am guessing that is where that one

came

from. If you find any other info on this, could you please pass it on? Thank

you.
