Guest guest
Hi this is I had an ERCP with spincterotomy on the 25th of Jan. Got pancreatitis and was in the hospital for a week. Came home Jan. 31 (oldest son's birthday). They sent me home on Pancrease and loratab. I was doing well till last weekend and the pain and nausea returned. I called doc yesterday and they want to do bloodwork in the am. Said it could be spasm or panc acting up. My choice was to take the robinal and valium and see if it helped if not take loratab and if that helped it was panc but would make spasm of SOD worse. What choices I have! I am to have the bloodwork and see the doc in the am. I have to travel an hout and a half to get this done. I also have a history of getting dehydrated and feel like I am getting that way again. Do any of you get dehydrated and have to have IV fluids on a regular basis? Also, what kinds of things should I ask or tell doc about history that might help to give a correct diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis? Thanks so much
