Leaving AMA

Fortunately, most large hospital billing offices have wised up and

they would rather say nothing about the patient leaving AMA than take

a chanc e on not getting paid. The only reason I know this is because

we end up leaving AMA at least three or four times a year ad its never

been a problem. Of course, some hospitals may be different...but

that's poor direction on the part of some administrators! Some

patients don't have a choice.
