Guest guest
There is an organisation in Oregon called VEDA; they are on the web; if I get a link, I will send it to you and to the list--I know it's lost in poor Herkimer here, somewhere! Love, n Rojas More on Ototoxicity Lyn's gentamicin levels were checked in the hospital before we left to do three weeks of home iv therapy; we were given orders to have them rechecked - ONCE, AFTER ONE WEEK. We trusted her doctor. Since this diagnosis, he has not bothered to call with support, concern, therapy information, nothing. I don't know how we are supposed to continue seeing him in good faith. It seems every else knew that levels should be constantly checked - I would like him to explain his ignorance. Thanks for the info on therapy; I am going to look for it. There is certainly a lot of information at this site. I wish I had taken the time to find it sooner - I would not have felt so alone during the past 18 years!
