Guest guest
Can someone tell me if fat helps you digest fiber? I have gastroparesis (along with celiac) and fat and fiber are supposed no-no's for gp symptoms. However, I notice that I tend to tolerate a little fiber much better if I have a big pat of butter on it. Also, if I cook a roast that has adequate fat, I can tolerate the veggies better that are cooked with the roast. Can anyone tell me what a good ratio is? Maybe if I had a better ratio, i could tolerate them even better. I'm kinda in the dark here.....or so it seems. :-) Thanks, ~ Celiac, gastroparesis, heart problems, pacemaker after open heart surgery at 17, PCOS, IBS-C _________________________________________________________________ It’s tax season, make sure to follow these few simple tips http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Taxes/PreparationTips/PreparationTips.aspx?\ icid=HMMartagline
