Fat and Fiber

Can someone tell me if fat helps you digest fiber? I have gastroparesis

(along with celiac) and fat and fiber are supposed no-no's for gp symptoms.

However, I notice that I tend to tolerate a little fiber much better if I

have a big pat of butter on it. Also, if I cook a roast that has adequate

fat, I can tolerate the veggies better that are cooked with the roast. Can

anyone tell me what a good ratio is? Maybe if I had a better ratio, i could

tolerate them even better. I'm kinda in the dark here.....or so it seems.

:-)

Thanks,

~
