According to my doc Clostridia is characterized by mushy wet stools. I know that

when I am tested, they want really wet yucky stool for testing. I do not

believe C is a symptom of Clostridia but I could be wrong. I have had it three

times and C was not a problem. It was d that was the issue.

For those of you using s.boulardii for clostridia, can you give me

any additional info on it. I am considering using it for my 3 year

old son's clostridia. We have no conclusive test to say he has it,

however some of his scores on one of his urine tests were elevated

indicating " probable clostridia " . The Culturelle Lactobacillus GG

was recommended by one of the DAN docs we saw, but apparently she

didn't know it was illegal on SCD. He doesn't have the typical

diarreah - he's the opposite with constipation at times. Some of my

questions about boulardii and clostridia are:

How do you know you have clostridia?

Once you take the s.boulardii- could you tell any difference in how

you felt or did bowel movements change?

Can you safely take this with other supplements?

Is it something you are on for life (i've read there's a 30-40%

chance you will get it again after you have cleared it up)and if you

did clear it up how do you know you've cleared it up and/or how do

you know if you get it again.

Gavin is only 3- still limited talking- doesn't really tell us how

he feels- may just be whiney- it's important for me to know

physically what to look for.

BIG!!! Thanks to all who reply
