Guest guest
Hey All, I just thought ai would update you on my progress. I am 7 weeks post op and I am down 45 lbs. This is a weight loss of 6.4lbs per week, Pretty good for someone who is 46 yrs old " don't ya think. " I could not be happier with the results. I still do not enjoy meats. I can only eat one or two bites and that is it. I eat and enjoy fruit vegs, soups and smoothies and juice. I keep hearing people expressing thier frustration about Dr. R turning down their packects. I know it can seem very frustrating but remember: 1) I f you do not have a complete physical with all the details and or if the details of the doctor's physical do not match what you put in your history then there can be confusion. Dr R. does depend completely on the information and physical from your PCP. He has to make sure it is done well and that the PCP really knows you and your medical background because he has to make a medically informed decision based on you medical history and physical from your PCP. I am glad he is so paticular. At least you know someone is looking at the information. 2) Dr R. wants to make sure each of his patients can follow detailed instructions. Because there are many instructions for your post op that can be very important in your success and overall health post op. Please hang in there and try not let it get you down. It will all seem insignificant when you are on the other side. I felt some of the same frustrations when I was getting my packet together. By the time you finish you feel like you are back in grammar school. IT IS WORTH THE HARD WORK AND THE HASSLE Bye for now and good luck.
