HELP!! HOW DO I GET MY NEW DOCTOR TO CALL ME???

Ok, guys....first let me apologize for not writing/posting much

lately. Ever since the combo sphincterotomy that I had done back in

August...I've been getting worse. Don't know if it's still the

healing process as some have suggested it may be...but it's now 8

wks post procedure and instead of getting better, I'm worse than I

was pre-procedure. Not getting worse by the day but not getting

better either. This is just some background here so you all will

know where I am at in terms of the dx of SOD, etc, etc. Dr. Lehman

at Indianapolis University Med Ctr/Hospital performed the procedure

but I'm in RI so he is obviously not my doc. Dr. L DID give me the

name of a local gastro doc and I've seen him exactly once. Supposed

to have seen him last week but because of this now OVERWHELMING

nausea I've actually had to cancel two appt's with him. I was in

the ER last week and had dilaudid to cut the pain which it did and

Compazine for the nausea. The IV Compazine sent me into the worst

spell of nausea I've ever had in my entire life...I was literally

writhing around on the bed.

ANYWAY, AND SORRY FOR YELLING BUT I WAS TO HAVE DR. A (MY NEW GASTRO

DOC THAT " SEEMED " AWESOME WHEN I ACTUALLY SAW HIM - AGAIN JUST TO

GIVE YOU GUYS BACKGROUND!!) WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE HIM PAGED WHEN I

GOT TO THE ER....HAD HIM PAGED, WAS THERE FOR 6 HRS AND HE NEVER

SHOWED UP!!! I'VE SPOKEN TO HIS NURSE PRACTITIONER AND THAT IS THE

ONLY LIVE HELP I GET!! THE PHENERGAN AND THE COMPAZINE ARE MAKING

THE NAUSEA WORSE...CALLED PCP YESTERDAY AND HE FOR SOME REASON HAS

DECIDED TO DEFER THE NAUSEA MED TO NEW GASTRO DOC (FINE TIME TO DO

THIS, NOT!!) ANYWAY, HAVE CALLED NEW GASTRO DOC'S OFFICE FOR THE

PAST 2 DAYS...NAUSEA IS OVERWHELMING AND NOTHING IS

HELPING...PHARMACIST SUGGESTED ZOFRAN...PCP WONT PRESCRIBE IT FOR

WHATEVER REASON...SAYS IT'S NOW GETTING OUT OF HIS LEAGUE!! GASTRO

DOC WILL NOT CALL ME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT SHOULD I DO GUYS?

I''M AT MY WIT'S END HERE....WHY WON'T HE CALL ME BACK? WHEN I SAW

HIM THAT FIRST TIME...HE WAS TOTALLY ON BOARD WITH HELPING ME OUT

WITH THE DISABILITY RETIREMENT THAT I'M NOW GOING TO TAKE FROM MY

JOB BECAUSE " HE " SAID THAT IF I GOT TO WHERE I AM NOW...8 WKS POST-

PROCEDURE THAT I WAS PROBABLY NOT GOING TO GET ANY BETTER!! WELL,

HERE I AM 8 WKS POST PROCEDURE AND I'M SO OVERWHELMED WITH NAUSEA

THAT I CANNOT EVEN GET MY 8 YR OLD ON HIS SCHOOL BUS THAT STOPS

RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSE....MISSED TWO APPTS WITH GASTRO DOC

BECAUSE OF THIS. NOW IM ASKING THE EXPERTS!! YOU GUYS!! WHAT DO I

DO? I DON'T WANT TO PI** HIM OFF...BECAUSE THEN HE MAY NOT

COOPERATE WITH THE DISABILITY RETIREMENT PAPERS THAT HE NEEDS TO

FILL OUT!! WHY WON'T HE CALL ME BACK?? ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT TO

DO FOR SEVERE NAUSEA IN THE MEANTIME...I'M ABOUT TO GO STARK, RAVING

MAD..!! PLEASE HELP!!
